Help Create a Word Tree at the Library!
Words are wonderful to read and to say, and help us to describe our world and to connect with one another. Sometimes confusion around a word can lead to hilarious fun, which you'll see when Karen reads from Debra Frasier's picture book MISS ALAINEUS. Karen also will lead an art activity where we'll illustrate wonderful words--selected from the MISS ALAINEUS vocabulary list--and will add to your growing vocabulary. Amaze your teachers with the new words you'll know! And add your "word leaf" to a special Word Tree that we'll create for the library!
Fun prizes for participants, ages 4 to 13.
